Restoration

Restoration is so liberating. It frees the mind of wonder, it frees the soul to soar. It's what the enemy hates, and I can see why. When there is disunity, there is bondage, and the punk would love that.

I'm so happy to say that I am in the process of reconciliation and restoration, and it is probably the most significant thing that has happened to me in a long time. God promises that as we grow and mature in our faith, we'll be put through the fire (Is. 48:10); satan wants to "sift us as wheat." (Luke 22:31). The sifting process hurts terribly. But He is refining us for HIS glory, and if we are to reflect the image of Christ in our lives, we have to be pure enough to hold a reflection.

Hi Caryn, this post was so touching to me...and I think it is so right. The "punk" as you aptly called him wants nothing more than disunity and disharmony. He thrives on that. And so when we go through those times of sifting, it is so important to hold fast to the One who has promised to never let us go. I needed to hear that TODAY. Really rough day. Things are done so differently here in the NE. Different isn't bad, but it is different....and different everything can be overwhelming at times.

Thanks for the reminder to go through this sifting with faith and dignity...

Hey JEN!
Good to hear from you. I am praying for you as you handle this new and "different" life up in Boston. I pray that God will empower you with boldness in your faith and with wisdom on how to deal with the new challenges you are dealing with up there. Best wishes!
