Worry, Anyone?

Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow,
but only empties today of its stength.

This was great...my scripture for today was Matthew 11:28-29, MSG, "Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace."(love that last line)In in NIV it says to take upon his yoke. A relationship with God changes meaningless, wearisome toil into spiritual productivity and purpose. It's so easy to say I'm putting things in God's hands, trusting in his will but then find that I really haven't.
Praying that I find myself reallying on God's strength to overcome the anxiety of the day!

I love the Message version... I'm so glad you sent me that word today (I've been meaning to get my Message bible back from Linda!). With school starting, there's always things to worry about. I love "learn the unforced rhythms of grace." that's super!!! I'll rest in that this week as I start back at school. THANKS!
