Recently, I was invited to go to Rip Van Winkle Gardens for a luncheon, and while I was there, I decided to take advantage of the gorgeous surroundings and do some shooting. As it turns out, I had a very willing subject who was a great sport and let me play with lighting and different settings, so we got a few good shots. First time working with someone who can talk! Usually I'm honing my craft on flowers or on my baby girl... so this shoot was extra fun.

Melissa's Baby Shower!

We had a lovely baby shower for Melissa and Chalan a few weekends ago at Cindy's house. It was a really nice shower and she got a lot of nice things for Mr. Evan John Thibodeaux! Here are a few shots from the day.Getting a corsage with little blue and white booties on it from Karen. Melissa with her sister and mom. They can't wait for Evan to get here!!

God's Superbowl Sunset

This is what God was doing while the rest of us were inside watching Superbowl XLI.
